At POM Industries, we stand behind the quality and performance of our products. Because our pepper spray and aerosol-based safety products are considered hazardous materials, we follow strict federal shipping and safety regulations. This policy outlines how returns, exchanges, and refunds are handled to ensure compliance while keeping you protected.

Eligible Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns or exchanges for the following cases:

  • Damaged in transit: If your order arrives damaged, defective, or leaking, we’ll replace it free of charge or issue a full refund.
  • Incorrect item received: If you received the wrong product, we’ll send the correct item promptly at no additional cost.
  • Factory defects: Rare defects in actuator function, labeling, or canister integrity may qualify for exchange or refund.

Due to federal transportation and safety restrictions, we cannot accept returns of used or pressurized pepper spray units that have been activated or are not in their original packaging.

Non-Returnable Items

For health, safety, and regulatory reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used pepper spray canisters
  • Inert practice units that have been discharged
  • Promotional or free items
  • Products purchased online from third-party retailers or marketplaces (please contact them directly)

How to Request a Return or Refund

To request a return, exchange, or report a damaged product, please contact our support team within 14 days of delivery:

Once your claim is reviewed, we’ll confirm eligibility and provide next-step instructions. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Additional Notes

  • We reserve the right to deny returns that show misuse or tampering.
  • Refunds are only applicable for purchases made directly through POMPepperSpray.com.
