The POM Home Defense Unit — Our largest and sturdiest design features a pistol-grip handle for maximum control and accuracy. Easily stored in bedside drawers, garages, or closets, this unit offers an impressive 20+ foot range, giving you plenty of space and distance to de-escalate a situation.
The pistol-grip design includes a safety-pin mechanism that ensures the unit won’t misfire accidentally while still offering a quick and easy way to arm and disarm it. The Home Defense Unit features POM's maximum strength formulation (1.40% major capsaicinoids), HPLC-tested to provide consistent heat performance.

Do not store your POM pepper spray in temperatures that exceed 120°F (48°C) or fall below 32°F (0°C). Extreme temperature fluctuations can cause the unit to leak and impact the unit's performance. Avoid keeping your unit in the car; if necessary, ensure it is stored out of direct sunlight.
When disposing of the unit, make sure all contents have been fully discharged, then discard it in a regular trash can.
